RELATIONSHIP ANCHORS - 7 RELATIONSHIPS YOU SHOULDN'T LET GO IN 2022

A Happy New Year Fam and Welcome to 2022 and to My first blog for the year.

I have loads of good stuff for you this year on my blog and podcast. https://anchor.fm/victory-isen/episodes/Sir-VC---Achieving-your-plans-in-2022--beyond-e1cl9de

One thing you should really be on the look out for this year is the Mental and Emotional Hack Leadership Series; FACTS, TRUTH & DARE. I can't wait for it too.

Ensure to stick close and closer and closeeerrrr...

Ok, let's begin.

When you think of relationships what's the first thing that comes to mind? PEOPLE, right? And many times we do not even put ourselves in the picture. It's weird to know that the first place we ought to look at in a relationship is the last place nobody would think about; MYSELF, OURSELVES, as individuals.

Relationships first begins with me, you as an individual. You'd have to be responsible for yourself first then, everything else that follows would stem from this. Stick with me till the end.

But there are those also, you shouldn't take for granted. I call them, RELATIONSHIP ANCHORS. They are the reason I created this content to be accessible by all.

Relationships are very vital in your career, success, failure, growth, how rich or how knowledgeable or how stupid you want to be.

To be able to relate you'd have to be relatable and that means you'd have to take responsibility for your choice of words, your actions, how you relate, the other person's feelings and emotions. By this, you're expected to be responsible for whatever you give out. Nobody owes you anything.

A different Illustration, when people decide to get into certain relationships, they only dwell on the emotional aspect and the physique; what they feel or what they can get from the relationship, or the idea of what this association would bring.

Hardly ever do they think about the reaponsibilty of being in one, or think about the content and stress of being in one.

Many ladies or males who want to get into relationships are having a hard time relating with those who are closest to them. If you don't learn now, one way or the other you'd learn from experiences.

How would you want to relate with the person you're not seeing, or that you're expecting sometime in the future (maybe as a couple) or you don't yet know, if you haven't taught yourself how to relate with those you can see and those you have now?

Many ladies I've heard say something like, "I can't do this if it's not my husband.." Yes true! But then also, there are many things you can do without having the thought of whether he's a husband or not. Besides, why stress yourself with that thought now. Work on yourself to be relatable. This among other reasons fault couples.

Don't be limited in your relationships

There are many ways to benefit from relationships than to be limited by the general perception or idea of the relationship syndrome.

You need to train yourself in such a way that your relationships' response-ability is moderate and worthy of honour or reward. I termed it this way. This simply means

"Your ability to respond in your relationships"

There are those you should give quality time to now you're single or married.

1.

Your Family; Parents, Siblings and Relatives

Who no like him papa or mama? Think again!

Honour your parents in the Lord for this is right. There's the blessing of the parents that you can never have anywhere, no matter how far you go. For the fact someone took care of you until now, then you should be grateful. If you have reservations about this because of some happenstance in the past, we could talk about this. Contact me here.

Your siblings

They're always there and will always be there.

You can fight but they're always there because they care about your growth and development. No matter how they yell at you, you come back.

2. Your spiritual heads, leaders, Your mentors

Whoever has a right over you and has guided you in life, taught you, helped you, trained you or impacted you in one way or the other you owe them the responsibilty of honour. Your teachers and leaders are in various sectors: church or school

3. Your Boss or Employer

I've always said, never you develop a bad name before whoever you've worked with. Relationships spread like fire. Your boss knows another boss who knows someone that knows you. Your gist has flown in Nigeria but you're still in one local house getting angry at what you could have resolved amicably. Your pride won't let you or you didn't have the right counsel or you just were too dumb to listen.

However you're treated, your ability to resolve relationships upwards gives you an edge in leadership. Because, resolving issues downwards, you could only have them to see things your way. You could even enforce your thoughts and opinions at the detriment of your subordinates. Take a look at the government for example, the enforcing of vaccines is outrightly wrong.

4. Employees, Staff, Workers

As a boss, doesn't mean you are Lord over all.

There are different things to focus on about this relationship, but maybe not in this article. Would be able to list out a few.

As a boss understand that people do have emotions too.

There are moments you really have to empathize, there are moments you'd have to be tough, there are moments you'd have to ignore, there are moments you'd have to act as though you're not seeing what's happening.

If you want to really be a leader, you'd have to hear more than they say. Sometimes this can come in ways where you need to push them to be productive. If you let them give excuses on their jobs, it would affect the work and themselves in the future.

5. Your Friends

There's a friend that sticks closer than a brother. Just as much as there are friends you shouldn't hold closely, there are others you should. What happens between or among your friends is transactional. You transact behavior, emotions and character.

You can be led into the wrong associations based on your kind of friends.

But how do you know the right friends?

A tip; friends who help you become better than you are, or who push you in a certain way to be better. Stick to such.

Identify your friends and stick with them that way; Educational, Business, Spiritual, Career, Fun etc, so you won't mix emotions inappropriately and eventually we will now coman hear heartbreak.

6. Business

There are those you benefit from financially. You have to ensure you keep this friendship and relationship open. Referrals mean a lot in businesses.

7. God

Your relationship with God gives you an edge over all other relationships. Even if you are a perfect husband, wife, brother, sister, boss, employee, friend, if you don't have the fear of God, all of those above won't be genuine or ephemeral (won't last). People claim they fear God and hurt others, that's absurd.

The more you discover God, you find more of yourself. You see, it still points us back to ourselves.

If you have an absolute Relationship with yourself you'd see that you'll be expressing more of God because, YOU ARE GOD REVEALED IN A HUMAN FORM. So, become more of who you were made to be and other relationships will turn out well.

P.S: Except you're in a relationship which isn't a healthy one and you want to quit but, if you're in a situation where you're angry or upset about something maybe with any of the relationship anchors listed above, instead of walking away from the person, come closer.

If there's a relationship I missed out on, feel free to mention in the comment below.

Thank You for your time

With Love from

SOMEBODY KNOWS PART-2

Something about him that you never knew… Today on my EXCLUSIVE, De AMBASSADOR features ELI-J SOMEBODY KNOWS PART-2 He knew that one day he was going to be on the spotlight but what he also knew was that he never knew when... however, he kept working on his best. Before we hit the runway, I want to say that today, the 9 th of March, depending on your geographical location, also happens to be his birthday. During his interview, he reminded me of how my dad always came around to wake us up as lads to attend our rote routine morning devotion. He would come with a cane and flog us when we slept beyond the time we were expected to be there. And this delay was mostly because of the late night movies we stayed up late to watch. We got so used to the time he would come into the room such that we didn’t need an alarm to go off at 5am anymore. Often times, before he even raised his cane to whip, we were already staring at him. And I’m certain he knew back then what our stares ...

THE BETTER YOU!!!

READ THIS LITTLE PIECE OF NOTE I LEFT YOU. I went for a short trip this weekend and I might be back before you get to the end. Well... that would depend on you (read carefully>>) WHAT DO YOU SEE??? Life oftentimes in the past have dealt roughly with us, and we fail to see rightly as we ought. Whatever happens in life, we choose to see either the problem, or the solution; the friends or the haters, the half-empty or the half-filled cup; the anger or the love. Why spend time on the negative when you could have exerted the same amount of energy and emotions or maybe even lesser, on the positive? The positive emotions always trumps the negative, anytime, everytime. WHAT DO YOU SEE??? CHOOSE to be the better YOU. Don't be the YOU that keeps getting worse than your original state. If I didn't have you in mind before I traveled, I wouldn't have left you this note. If you're still curious as to who I am, I AM THE BETTER PART OF YOU THAT YOU IGNORED. You ...
